Parent Child Attachment Play (PCAP) Training (in assocation with Big Toes Little Toes)

Date: Sat 10th and Sunday 11th March 2018 (2 days)

Venue: Flannerys hotel, Renmore, Galway

For anyone working with children who wishes to extend their work to working with families. This is a gentle play-based approach aimed at improving the attachment quality of the parent-child relationship using attachment mechanisms and child-oriented play with parents/carers and their children aged 3-15+ years.

Heart to Heart Training (in association with Big Toes Little Toes)

Date: Sat 14th and Sunday 15th April (2 days)

Venue: Flannerys hotel, Renmore, Galway

This NEW and highly innovative programme training is for practitioners who wish to support relationships between parents, carers and their children and teens aged from 5 to 15+.  Practitioners will learn fun, gentle and child-oriented ways to improve attachment security using the very latest research findings.

Baby Bonding Practitioner Training (in association with Big Toes Little Toes)

(28+ weeks of pregnancy to early years) (CPD accredited)

Date: Sat 29th and Sunday 30th September 2018 (2 days)

Venue: Flannerys hotel, Renmore, Galway

For anyone working with children or families who wishes to extend work to include working with parents and infants.

Baby Bonding aims to strengthen the attachment between parent and infant.

Play Therapy Galway offers workshops for:

"The Power of Playful Parenting"- Using play to help parents understand their children’s emotions and behaviour. This workshop covers topics such as the power of play in families, helping your child understand his/her feelings, dealing with tantrums, anger, anxieties and self-esteem.
